What is Korean
Market Food?

In South Korea, MARKET FOOD is ready-to-eat food sold by a vendor in a street or other public places, such as at a market or fair. These vendors are often called POJANGMACHA or POCHA in short, which is referred to a small tented spot that can be on wheels or a street stall. Some offer cheap chairs or benches for customers to sit, especially the ones serving late night customers who come to drink soju.

Indeed, Pocha is a popular place in South Korea to have a snack or drink late into the night. Many Korean people enjoy Market Food at Pocha, because they can get to appreciate flavourful food for a reasonable price in a sociable setting.
